Atlantic Centre for the Arts
I will be painting with my Canadian friends at the Atlantic Centre for the Arts in New Symrna Beach the week of January 24 - 29th.
I do this every year which gives me a great opportunity to meet artists from other regions and allows me time to reflect upon my art and think about new directions and techniques.
Maitland Art Center
I now have original, small works for sale in the museum store. This is a new opportunity for the museum shop and myself.
More exciting news concerning the Maitland Art Center is that we are currently working on a one-woman-show for 2012. Check back for details in the coming year.
Travel
In October of this year, I will be going back to the Asheville, North Carolina area to paint. This always clears my mind and approach.
Recently Published!
Two of my pieces were recently published in the book "Live & Learn: Expressive Drawing,
A Practical Guide to Freeing the Artist Within" by
Steven Aimone. One of my drawings is featured prominently in chapter one, Basic Understandings, as one of several initial examples of nonobjective drawings.
